Alex and Filip are two music junkies from Nova Gorica. The two guys engaged in a profesional dj/production partnership in 2005. After about a year Alex and Filip got their first few tracks which were well supported by some of the world's finest djs: Futureshock, Hernan Cattaneo, Mashtronic, Stu Hirst, Openair, Deepgroove, Chris Lake, James Talk and many more.

Their first official release: Alex & Filip - Lights out ep - Restart digital hitted the Balance record pool chart and reached the 16th place after 2 weeks. The second instalment from the duo was the melodic proggy tinged track Liquid fantasy which entered directly @ No.2 in the Release records promo chart. A pretty decent start, don't u think :?

Soon after that the duo released their single Vendetta on their homeland based F-recordings, which was also well recived by many of the world's top jocks. In the mean time they started to work on some new remixes for artists and labels accross the globe. In 2007 they kicked off with the release of their own remixes for Ali Payami, Sebastian Davidson & Licious K + a A&F remix for Chris Fraser on 1980recs.

The summer of 2007 has seen some fine releases from the Alex & Filip camp: the faboulous remix for Tim Andresen's Get down track followed by their own single »Under« on Jay Cox's Fizzeek label, followed by the massive remixes for Mohawk - Bad girls & Openair - Anticlimax (both on System Recordings USA)

2008 started in a great way with their remix for Steve Haines – Free 2 be. Towards the end of yeart the duo finished remixes for Warren Clarke, Jay Cox, Fedrico Epis and Autophase. Those trax gained the duo more support form djs like Albert Cabrera, Trent Cantrelle, Pete Gooding, Mashtronic, Dumb Dan, Seamus Haji, Aldrin, Andy Chatterley, Stel, Jay Cox, Murray Richardson, Funkagenda, Jody Wisternoff, Phil Dockerty, Dumb Dan, Riley & Durant, Filthy Rich, Richard Colman, Inkfish, Tom Morgan, Pirupa, Autophase, Tom Stephan, Wesley S, Max Cagliero & many more!

With massive release like the Autophase remix on Adjust records, the Mark Trophy remix on Suesse & their own »Insider« single & Filip's own »One day« single which includes an A & F rework too on System all seems to be ready for the launch of their very own Mirabilis records in this spring around the WMC.! Beside this watch also for more remixes for the likes of Kei Mohebi on Inkfish, Dj Dome + Elvis Suarez forthcoming on Big Love & Jay Cox smasher »Shutter« on Fizzeek!

Gig wise in the past years they have rocked floors all over Slovenia (Lipa, Simfonija, Kaos, Sub Sub, Fun Factory, Heaven, Ambasada Gavioli, Cream, Pulse festival, Castle party, Marcus Club, Patriot, The Club, K4, Trnfest …) and gigs in Italy (Suburbia, Kursaal…), Croatia (Colosseum, Fort Burgignon, House Angels…). Bosnia & Bulgaria. They shared the dex with some of the world's finest spinners like Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Adam Beyer, Scarlett Etienne, Paul Woolford, The Beginerz, Steve Porter, Cristian Varella, Technasia to name but a few.

The live & Studio mixes done by the duo have been broadcasted on some of the most renewed radio stations: MOS radio, Proton, Frisky, Electronic Groove Podcast, Radio Salamon, Kiss Fm Romania, DLA, House FM, Dance Fm, Epiloges, Funkifikation, and were positevely acclaimed by the audience becouse of the always classy choice of the trax & the perfect way all is mixed & mashed up.
