Even though Autodeep might not sound too familiar for most people on the scene, the two faces behind the new project are no rookies at all. Hagen Pfennigstorf and Ulli Hammann both already have 10 years of experience in DJing, producing, event promotion and label work mostly from running one of Germany's most influential hiphop labels from 2000 – 2007. Their rediscovered love for house music that is reflected in the Autodeep project is still young though.
With musical roots in Germany's early 90' rave & club scene they never really lost their interest in electronic dance music but wasn't until late 2007 that they launched their critically acclaimed Love Hertz label and started to play regular gigs and clubnights at Hannover's best house & techno clubnights and parties. In 2008 they initially released more techno-oriented stuff on Love Hertz under their Haterboy & Van Hagen moniker and ganined instant support by the likes of Timo Mass, Tomcraft, Toni Rios, Anderson Noise, D-Nox & Beckers, Tom Pooks and Remute.
In 2009 the Love Hertz label is going strong with a high quality output in the vein of deep minimalistic house and techno supported by international top players like Luciano, SIS, Len Faki, John Acquaviva, Magda and many many more. Meanwhile they launched their new house project Autodeep to push their very own vision of modern house music. The Autodeep sound ranges from slower, dubby and slightly discoid explorations to floor-friendly underground house grooves. The first releases are set to rock the clubs in late 2009 on well-respected international labels like Barcelona's Galaktika Rec., the legendary german Night Drive Music imprint, Miami-based Grouper Rec. and Kolours Rec. from Detroit. So better be prepared for some hot funk from these guys straight outta Germany!
