Born in New Jersey. Grew up in Colombia, Bogota. Currently living in New York. Pao c was a musical child, who at a very early age demonstrated a keen sense of rhythm. This quickly grew into a love of playing guitar. Her skills quickly refined as she met nick, who introduced her to beat mixing. Her career then quickly took off and she got a personal style that turned her into one of the leading colombian female djs.

PAO's sound is indefinable. Very few DJs can transition from one genre to another with a fluid sense of what the dancefloor wants, yet Pao effortlessly fuses music styles such as house, progressive, and techouse to create one great night of dance music. Her trademark pumping, energetic baselines and tough, yet uplifting melodies lead the dance floor into a hot, sexy, sultry vibe in a way that very few DJs can.

Pao's sets demonstrate mixing skills and eclecticism. In Bogota she becomes one of the official resident for the legendary well known club: CINEMA. in 2006 she was voted best dj, and selected winner in the Smirnoff dj contest. It wasn’t long before Pao c's impeccable taste in music caught a major attention in Colombia, Since then she has been spreading her sound all around the country and also around the world in one of the best clubs of Ecuador, Guayaquil and Quito, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sao Paulo, brazil, Montreal (Canada) and in New York.

PAO C is now producing and releasing her first tracks with a major label: CARICA RECORDS. She has had the opportunity to play with important international djs such as GROOVE ARMADA ( ANDY CATO AND TOM FINDLAY), JOHN ACQUAVIVA, DARREN PRICE (UNDERWORLD), DEADMAU5, TOM MORGAN, GUY GERBER, DEEP MARIANO, Ana flavia, Felipe volumen, mastyksoul, john julius knight, patrcick m, saeed younan, aidan lavelle, troll, marcello castelli, dj yellow, isa b, julio largente, niki belucci, audiofly, mr gil, joeski, mike hiratzka, qba, driss skali (pacha resident Marrakech), exercise one, ame, bruno from ibiza, austin leeds, jose de divina (circoloco), victoria r, oliver hacke and djulz.

In 2009 she released her first tracks on beatport n juno records with a major label from Russia called CARICA RECORDS, and her first ep was released on 2010 in a very recognizable label from London called STRIPPED RECORDINGS with the full support of HERNAN CATTANEO & SASHA amongst others. she has also played for a very important fashion event in Bogota, ¨ BOGOTA - CIRCULO DE LA MODA¨ where she played a session of chill house, lounge, jazzy house. She also played in one of the most important parties of the year NOKIA TREDNS HOUSE.
