Atish is just a dude who likes to spin records and dance, usually both at the same time. His musical background spans classically trained violin, marching band tuba, jazz trombone, stints as a drummer and bassist in the LA indie rock scene, and uncanny abilities on the skin flute.
After all this, moving to San Francisco and throwing underground parties with House-Heads and listed Productions finally opened his ears to underground dance music. On a whim, he bought a friend's vinyl collection and a pair of 1200's. From that point, he realized his true love, DJing.
His taste spans deep house, tech-house, nu-disco, and cheesy 80's synth-funk, but ultimately his style comes down to playing tracks that make him and the audience dance.
