Darren Doherty aka Darren D is a dj/producer from Ireland originally from Longford but now living in Sligo. Darren’s style will bring you on a journey of funky house beats filled with beautiful percussion and an energetic bass line. Darren started djing back in 1998 at the early age of 15, picking up his first residency in The Privilege in Longford at the age of 16.He then progressed to pick up guest spots in clubs all around the country such as Wiseguys , Lush(athlone), Nitelinks, The Clarence and The basement to name but a few, as well as running his sell out parties in his own town of Longford. Darren has continued playing in clubs and festivals in Ireland for the past 12 years and recently he has decided to go down the production route to broaden his career in the music industry.

Darren has teamed up with another great Irish talent John Kearns aka “lateral cut groove” where they go by the name of “Kronecker Delta”. Kronecker Delta’s first track “Tribe of sunshine” was released on july 2010 and has done really well for the two boys. Darren and John are currently working on some big stuff in the studio at the moment and both are very excited what’s to come in 2011, with "Itchy Fingers " and there massive remix of Maris "Perro Flauta" due for release early 2011.
